Completed in November 2023, Goldman Plumbing installed a compressed air system for the new Sydney Metro — City and Southwest Tunnel Project. This project ran for two years and required the installation of over 50,000 metres of stainless steel compressed air line.
The compressed air for this system was used to control the actuators on the tunnel ventilation system. There were 17 plant rooms within the system, with two compressors and two air receivers in each plant room. Goldman Plumbing's contract also included the design and installation of electrical control systems to monitor and maintain air pressures and to control and monitor the compressed air system.

From design and procurement through installation, testing and commissioning to handover and as-built documentation, Goldman Plumbing manages the full hydraulic construction scope with its own engineers, project managers and tradespeople.
Standards & Compliance
Works are delivered to the National Construction Code and AS/NZS 3500, with safety managed to WHS requirements on every site.
